Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz on Thursday read out statements
certifying that another 14 members of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc and Our Ukraine
People’s Union relinquished their MP authority.
Statements by Yulia Tymoshenko and Mykola Tomenko, leaders of the Yulia
Tymoshenko Bloc, were among them.
President Vetoes SPF Law

Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has once again vetoed the Law on the State
Property Fund (SPF), believing some of its clauses do not comply with the
Constitution and laws of Ukraine.
Issuers to Place Securities Abroad

State Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine has drawn up a
regulation that would give Ukrainian issuers the freedom of placing their
securities abroad on their own.

Tymoshenko Men Leave Kyiv
Council
KYIV,
June 14, 2007. The
Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction left the session hall of the Kyiv City Council on
Thursday. One of the main reasons why they did so is the fact that the faction
was not presented a decision of the Dnipropetrovsk District Court of Kyiv
suspending decisions adopted at the most recent bloc
convention.
Moroz Sues Bessmertnyi and
Turchynov

June 14, 2007.
Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Moroz has filed a lawsuit against Roman
Bessmertnyi and Oleksandr Turchynov for combining jobs in the legislature and
the executive.
NDU Increases Charter
Capital
KYIV,
June 14, 2007. The
State Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine has registered an
additional issue of Hr25 million stocks of the National Depository of Ukraine
(NDU) as a result of which the charter capital of the NDU has reached Hr30
million, as follows from a statement by Serhiy Biriuk, member of the
Commission.
